Please complete this form to inform us of any absences or lesson cancellations.

We require at least 24 hours notice for all cancellations of lessons to be eligible for a make up credit.

If sufficient notice is not provided, a makeup credit for the missed lesson will not be given. Provision of a medical certificate can be used as an exemption for a last minute cancellation.

A medical certificate is required to be presented within 48 hours of the day of absence to be eligible for a make up credit.

Private Lesson Makeup Key Policies:

  • Private lesson students are offered a maximum of two (2) makeup credits for a full term of enrolment
  • A last-minute cancellation with the provision of a medical certificate will only be eligible for one makeup credit. This makeup credit will be one of the two makeup credits provided per term.
  • The scheduling of makeups will be based on the mutual availability between the teacher and student, and are scheduled as either of the following: during the school holiday period that follows the current term, as an extra lesson during the week or an extension of lesson time if scheduling permits.

Group Lesson Makeup Key Policies: 

  • There are no makeup classes for group lessons during the school holidays.
  • The availability of a makeup class is dependent on the school’s schedule. If you decide not to use the makeup credit, it will be considered forfeited.

Please note:  Our administrative team will work their best to find a mutual time beneficial for both teacher and student. The onus is on the parent/caregiver to cooperate with administration to work out a mutually beneficial time. We ask parents to help administration by arranging makeups early in the term to avoid any makeup credits not being utilised. Any makeup credits that are not utilised in the current term or term holiday will be considered forfeited.

If I would like to request for a make up credit, I agree to the following:
- We require at least 24 hours notice for all cancellations of lessons to be eligible for a makeup credit. Private Lessons students are offered a maximum of two (2) makeup credits for a full term of enrolment.

- Makeup credits are used to schedule a makeup lesson.

- Makeup credits do not roll over to the subsequent term.

- We do not refund any missed lessons or makeup credits

- Any makeup credits that are not utilised in the current term will be considered forfeited.

- The scheduling of makeups will be based on the mutual availability between the teacher and student, and are scheduled as either of the following: during the school holiday period that follows the school term, as an extra lesson during the week or an extension of lesson time if scheduling permits.

- If the student misses the makeup lesson/class, it cannot be rescheduled or refunded.

- Provision of a medical certificate can be used as an exemption for a last minute cancellation (Private Lesson Students: only one make up credit per term can be provided for this reason). A medical certificate is required to be presented within 48 hours of the day of absence to be eligible for a make up credit.

Please note that this is a preference only and that scheduling will depend on the mutual availability between the student and teacher. Our administrative team will endeavour to schedule according to preference, but note it cannot always be accommodated. In the event your regular teacher is not available, a substitute teacher will be provided for your make up lessons.
